I've known Erin since elementary school, but have never seen her more beautiful than as this glowing mom-to-be. Both she and her husband, Glenn, made this maternity session so easy for me - their happiness and love for each other was magnetic. Even little Dominic was excited about his pseudo modeling debut and kicked his momma through most of the session... he better get used to the spotlight, I have a feeling he's going to see a lot of cameras in his life!We started the day with some more personal photos in their home and then took some outdoor shots at Tree Tops Park in Davie. Here are just a few of my favorites...

Brandi Carlile, Photos and Interview | South Florida Music Photographer
One June 7th, singer-songwriter, Brandi Carlile's voice carried through all of Millennium Park. She's definitely one of those artists who is best appreciated live - which obviously was the force behind her latest album, Live at Benaroya Hall with The Seattle Symphony. I think it’s a combination of her great energy on stage and the sometimes-heartbreaking themes behind her songs that really closes the gap between the performer and the audience. Even in this case, when some of the audience was stretched out on a picnic blanket more than an entire city block from the stage.
SXSW 2011: Coming Soon | South Florida Music Photographer
I have this rule that when I'm editing concert photos, I have to be listening to that band's music. It puts me back in the moments I pressed the shutter button and for some reason, I couldn't do it any other way. I experienced so much new music in Austin, but considering I'm only about halfway through my photos, I still have a ton of new music to enjoy - again. If anyone peaked at my recent iTunes purchases, it would be very obvious that I just returned from SXSW.I have so much coverage to eventually post here, so make sure you're all paying attention. I think I completely underestimated the amount of time it was going to take to get it all done. And for the record... its officially been five days since I've returned from Austin and I'm not even close to being fully recovered. Should I be embarrassed by that? Probably, but I'm too tired to care. For now, I will leave you with this...6th street, 3/18/11, 8:39pm.
